yes, im the kind of person who worries about this the most when looking for an MP3 player: the color
i dont want to be to dull nor too tacky... and i dont want a color that i'll get sick of
so what will it be?

lime green
silver
blue

I got blue but I wish I had gotten lime green. So go for lime green!

yeah for me it was pretty much between the silver, gold, or lime green...
everyone has silver
so either gold or lime green! ahhh!

Marquise, ok fine, ALOT of people have a pink ipod.
Anyways, Gold would be interesting, never seen anyone with that color. That would be original =)

i have a green one!! i think it's SO cute!!
and i have a clear case for it so it doesn't get scratched - but you can still see the green....it's the best case!!!

I would get pink. You should get silver.
Actually, I wouldn't get an iPod mini, since the 20 GB Dell DJ costs the same price as the 4 GB iPod mini (at this time, since they have the discount). And the 30 GB DJ costs less than the 6 GB iPod mini. No, I'm not promoting Dell. I'm just saying that even though iPods are the most popular, they're not the cheapest.

I got mine blue. I went to 4 different Best Buys in Houston and none of them had Lime Green in stock 
So if you are lucky enough to find it, I would get lime green.

Posted: 8/17/05 at 8:13amI'd go w/ green if you're set on getting an iPod mini. Though, I must say I enjoy my Dell DJ (30 gig). I haven't had a chance to go totally crazy downloading music on it, but I'd say even though the 30 may be a bit overkill (I don't think I'll ever fill it) for the same price as an iPod mini, the 20 gig might be a better option. Even though I haven't used all 30 gig, it didn't take long at all to fill up 4!

Why in my day, there was no iPod mini! You got your iPod regular-sized and white or not at all! And the thing had four buttons instead of just a click wheel! Four buttons, I tell you! Damn kids with their mini iPods, connecting with USB or Firewire, I tell ya...

I believe its impossible to get Gold in stores, and I worked at Best Buy far too many months and we only got green once....
...You can get them through Apple which is nice because they also inscribe them for free and I believe you get a discount if you are a student...
However that leaves you with a dinky 1 yr guarantee, and while I love Ipods and have them myself they can be quite glitchy and the battery runs out over time...
At best buy the guarantee is 50 dollars extra and covers you for 4 years, endlessly important in my opinion, i don't know about stores like circuit city though, although their service plans tend not to be as good...

Silver or Blue.
And yes, A LOT of people have pink ipods, including me. It was a gift so it wasn't my choice - but I'm not complaining, I got an ipod!
