List them!

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Les Mis - The show Will's mom hates because there's poor people singing.

Mamma Mia - The show Will takes his mom to see ("Oh wait. There's no poor people, are there?")

I know there's more. Those are just off the top of my head.

That episode when Will wanted to see the Nutcracker really badly, but Grace kept cwitching between Will and her husband, and in the end, Will got scared of the actors lol

"It's a great feeling of power to be naked in front of people. We're happy to watch actual incredible graphic violence and gore, but as soon as somebody's naked it seems like the public goes a bit bananas about the whole thing."

I was thinking Nutcracker too, but that's not a musical.

Wasn't there a crack about Taboo somewhere?

My Fair Lady - In one of the "Fagmalion" episodes, Will claims the two main male leads (names totally not coming to me) were closet gays.

Will once made a comment:

"That's just a bad idea...like FOOTLOOSE the musical"

Also, there was a time when Grace went to SEUSSICAL.

Once Will said something scandalous (I forget what) and Jack turned to him slowly and said, "Jean Valjean?"

Whether you count Moulin Rouge as a musical, when it came out on video, Will said, "Happy 'Moulin Rouge-coming-out-on-dvd' Day!"

my favorites were when Grace's mom played Professor Carol Hill in THE MUSIC PERSON and and I think Lilly (was that right?) Lowman in DEATH OF A SALESPERSON.

Also yes, SEUSSICAL. When Grace had to tell Will that she saw his dad with another woman she started with "Last night, when I was at SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL..." and then Will said "...wait, you went to SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL???"

The joke about Taboo was that Minnie Driver's character was in the chorus. And they made a crack about having a cast party every night, "just in case".

And when she told Karen that she was in it:
"Oh I was going to see that, but I saw Little Shop instead."
"Oh really, how was it?"
"I felt the plant phoned it in."

I liked when Grace told Will that she went with a date to see Seussical The Musical, and saw Will's dad there with another woman.

Will's reaction: "I can't believe it... I can't believe you went to see Seussical The Musical without me!!!"

Will's mom took Grace to see 700 Sundays... they got back and were talking about it... some joke was made... can't remember... I'm sure someone else will.

I thought I had another one, but I seemed to have lost it.

Jack sang "Papa, can you hear me?" from YENTL.

Will dropped his mom off at Gyspy one time...
And Jack and Will talked about how many times they'd seen Mamma Mia...'I saw it twice...yesterday!'
