Yes. That's why I hadn't bought my SOUVENIR tickets yet. It's probably safe now, though.

re: Wasn't the world supposed to end November 9th?

I thought the Nostradamus day was, like, July 4, 1999.

But if it ended two days ago, why the hell am I at work? Oh, well. At least I'm not actually working.

I say keep the predictions coming, my dad always said that God was peeved that people tried to guess so He would change the date just to make anyone who guessed wrong.
I stand corrected, you are as vapid as they say.

oh, dear... if there are any more end dates, please let me know. I would hate to be in the office the day the world ends.

I think it would be a good day to play hooky! re: Wasn't the world supposed to end November 9th?

re: Wasn't the world supposed to end November 9th?

i was channel flipping at 3am a few weeks ago and came to something on the history channel talking about the bible of some religion... can't remember which one. but i guess when it was decoded it predicted september 11th, actually saying bin laden's name... and i believe it also said the tsunami that hit southeast asia last year too. it said that 9/11 was the beginning of the end of the world and it should happen in 2020. great, isn't it? i felt comfortable going to sleep that night :P!

2020! That's just too soon for me. Can't it be like 2120? I'll be long gone.

The World ended two days ago... Man. I've GOT to check my voice mail more often.

Wait--the world doesn't end until this Spring...at the Stage Door of "Barefoot in the Park" as Mister Wilson exits and finds me standing there...playbill and sharpie in hand. :o)

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

It can't end before I see Chita, Women in White & Lestat

I almost forgot . I have to see In My Life before I shuffle off. To go into eternity without seeing that show is something I cannot deal with

The world can't end until I've seen Shamu. It's my last step on the way to completion, and the world can't end before I'm complete. I'm too important.

re: Wasn't the world supposed to end November 9th?

I'm sorry, I forgot to inform you all. The Almighty informed me on Nov 7th, that the world ending date had been moved back to
August 2, 2006........as it would still allow for our month in Eastern Europe.

More details to come later. That is all.

Elphaba, any chance you can negotiate to get it pushed back to August 17th? I would like to be around for my 40th. Please.
