Romantico/Carlos/Phyllis and everyone else who read that tweet and was disgusted - the entire account is satirical and mocks God and religion. That post and every post is meant to be a joke that makes the religious argument seem ridiculous. Apparently the satire was pretty on the mark since it duped a bunch of people here.

LOL! That tweet was on just about every gay blog I read this morning. I assumed the, "Hope I don't miss and hit Kansas", was the giveaway and people could see it as satire.

Actually, FYI President Obama, it is NOT just a matter for individual states...until the federal government recognizes same-sex marriage the IRS will continue to tax people on inheritance etc. So boo.

Not to mention immigration issues and a million other things. And nothing can be achieved in that respect until DOMA is repealed.
I'm still thrilled for New York, but I wearily acknowledge there's a whole rest of the country out there, most of which has some pretty restrictive anti-guy stuff at the state level.
