Is anybody here watching the Golden Globes tonight???...if so, which movies have you seen??? Any preferences for best picture???
I will be, but must confess.......I am a sucker for the red carpet show, haven't seen many of the movies up for anything. I'm hoping Kate Winslet does well.
Yeah, I haven't seen any of them. But I like seeing what people are wearing and the acceptance speeches.
I am actually much more excited about part 1 of the season premiere of 24 tonight.
I miss Jack Bauer and am glad he's back to save the world yet again.
Yes, I invited some peeps over, I did some cooking, and we're watching!
The only way I can watch award shows is if I am doing something else and have it on in the backround. So I have all my bills and paperwork-y stuff to do tonight..so yes, I will probably watch it.
Wut'cha cookin tonight, Jane?

I'm SUPER excited for tonight
I'm not one for the silly award shows like People's Choice and stuff, but I LOVE the real, glamorous ones. And GG are doubly awesome cause they're movies AND TV
SO many great movies and performances this year.
And as far as tv goes, NPH for How I Met Your Mother FTW!!
I share the 24 dilemma. If it were just a regular weekly episode, I'd record it, but they're showing two episodes tonight and two tomorrow night.
Wouldn't miss it. I'm pulling for a SLUMDOG sweep.

Yeah, the Globes are getting DVR'ed tonight, and I'll catch up with them later this week...I guess on Tuesday, since there is more Jack Bauer tomorrow night, too.

The best part about the Globes is that they sit at tables and drink - heavily. It all becomes more entertaining as the night goes on.
I've seen almost all of the major movies nominated including Slumdog Millionare, Milk, Doubt, The Curse of Benjamin Button, Revolutionary Road, The Reader, Valkyrie, Gran Torino, and Frost/Nixon.
I am pulling for Slumdog Millionare!

Thrilled Mickey Rourke won for THE WRESTLER! Brilliant, indelible portrayal.
