Weapons - Amy Madigans Career Resurgence?

Overall I would give the film Weapons maybe a 7.8/10, but Amy Madigans performance as the main antagonist really was something special. I’ve never really caught on to her work prior to this; I mainly knew of her because she is married to Ed Harris. Happy to see her get more attention and accolades with this role.

I saw the film last night and was completely blown away by Ms. Madigan's performance!  I will really be super upset if the motion picture academy doesn't acknowledge her acting skills in this film!
