I tried sushi on numerous occasions hoping I would finally get all the hype, but I just don't like the stuff. Some of the fish is ok, but the seaweed is just DISGUSTING. It makes me gag.

re: I just had Total for Dinner

You don't have to have it with seaweed. I always get the types mixed up, but I think nigirizushi basically consists of a mound of rice with a piece of fish on top, and maybe wasabi in between. They might be tied together with a strip of seaweed, but you can always get rid of that.

You'll want to avoid handrolls (tamekizushi?), because they're always wrapped in seaweed. And the small rolls you probably had (makizushi, I think) are usually wrapped in seaweed, too, but some types aren't. So if you're offered handroll, roll, or sushi, take the sushi. :) Or sashimi, which is raw or cooked fish served with no rice- just a dipping sauce.

Cereal for dinner? In the summer when it is just too hot to cook all the time. I like Corn Flakes and Crispix
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Conan O'Brien

I had gelatos in Italy for lunch on numerous occasions. I only had 5 euro to buy lunch, and that was the cheapest thing I could find.

Breakfast foods for dinner is definitely the best.
I have my books and my poetry to protect me...

"The stage is where I live and come alive and act out all the things that go on in my life. It's not just what I do for a living, it's my shrink and my love affair. No one in my life has ever or ever will kiss me on the mouth like this lover called my relationship with my performance."

Mister Matt-
Try sushi inside out.
You will love it.
And feed it to Jarico. Sushi like oysters are sensual foods.

I eat peanut butter sandwichs for dinner a lot. No jelly.
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

Daisy and I have always been fans of the "Stackers and a glass of water" dinner plan...except of course, when we're in the mood for the "Pint of Ben & Jerry's and a Big Nick's Xtra Large Pizza (each)" meal.

No wonder I feel such a kinship with Anna Nicole.

How did the trail mix bars turn out Plum?

I also do something wierd. I make pizza sandwiches. It's just like grilled cheese except you put pizza sauce, mozarella and peperoni (or whatever other topping you want(if it's meat make sure it is precooked) on the bread instead and put it in the pan. I love it!

I LOVE soup for breakfast and scrambled eggs or cereal for dinner. (Of course I have a tendency to stay up all night and sleep all day.)

re: I just had Total for Dinner

lately, since i work at Coldstone, i've been having random sample spoons of different icecreams throughout the day... and sometime during my break i'll get coffee or some sort of drink. today was weird, i had a sandwich. and when i get home i eat cake. cake is the yummiest thing everrrrrr! i'm a huge cake fanatic, and what's great is that Coldstone we have Cake Batter icecream, so if i don't bring my family any icecream (cause i get anything free each time i work) i'll get myself my fave, cake batter icecream w/ oreos. yummyness... CAKE... makes me want some. but my mom yelled at me for having too much sugar today when i was about to take a piece of cake for dinner today, cause all i eat is icecream and cake, and so i ended up not eating dinner (aka cake). but i lose my appetite anyways when i work... so days that i don't work i get fat from cake. lol... that was long.

moral to story: cake=yum
