Anthony

It looks like he's streching to me, since the person in front of him looks like he/she is has their hands up in the air too.
I got those pictures off of Google, but their from this site:
http://www.craighamrick.com/anthony/index.html

ETA: Whoops, I failed to see this on the site:
"Please do not use these images without permission, but feel free to link to this page. Thanks!"
Oops. I supose Mr. Hamrick won't mind, as I am only spreading some Anthony love.

BUMP

Thanks for those pictures. Wow, it feels like I haven't been on this thread in forever.

I posted this a while ago but, just to remind everyone Anthony is doing some event at Bryant Park on Wednesday, Aug 16. Did anyone hear anything about this? ..or is anyone going? Here is some info:

Anthony Rapp, Without You: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and the Musical Rent

* Wednesday, August 16
* 12:30pm – 1:45pm
* Bryant Park Reading Room

Author and popular star of stage and screen, Anthony Rapp talks with New York City Opera dramaturg Cori Ellison about the parallel themes of love and death in Rent, La bohème and his memoir, as well as the latter-day bohemian struggles of young artists in New York.

As a special treat to begin the event, the casts of City Opera’s La bohème and the current Broadway production of Rent perform selections from their productions, accompanied by piano. This event is also part of our Afternoon Arias series.

Hosted by New York City Opera.

With special introduction by the Bryant Park bookworm, Miriam Tuliao - en vogue New York Public Library librarian, Chairperson of the American Library Association's Notable Books Council and President of the New York Library Association's Ethnic Services Round Table.

Rain Venue:
Coliseum Books
11 West 42nd Street
between 5th & 6th Aves. - directly across from the Bryant Park Reading Room

Hey, I know this is OT but does anyone know where I can find videos to the Actors Benefit Fund show of Chess please? You know, the one with Josh Groban in it? If anyone does, please PM me and I'll give you my email address. Thank you.

It's also actually outside, apparently. If the weather is good, that should be really, really nice.

I wish I could go!

Hey!
It's been awhile since i've been around. I figured that I'd stop by and see what everyone's been up to. I see there are some great new pictures of Anthony and that's always great to see. Has he been lurking lately?

Anthony

Thanks for the fabulous pictures Alex! Anthony is just too adorable. Can't wait til Kidnapped this fall!

I was in Bryant Park briefly, but I left right after he went up. I really just wanted to hear the new Mark. Anthony I was just passing by on my way to Drowsy. Which didn't happen, but Ollies was fun too.

Thanks for the pictures!

I have an odd question: Is anyone able to send me Disc 7 of the audio book version of Without You? The CD's are hard to lift out of the case and the disc broke when I was taking it out for the first time. Anthony At least I think that's what happened, unless it came broken somehow. So if anyone happens to have it, I would really appreciate it. I know it's doubtful, but I figure this is the best place to ask if I'm going to find it.

Grazie for the pictures, Alex.
I'm sure you can guess that I'm just a little envious of all of you who've gotten to see Anthony live. The main reason why I admire him (this is probably true for a lot of you) is that...well, when I listen to him on cast recordings (the few that he's on), he just seems to exude...I don't know...some sort of...energy, I guess. Maybe "presence" would be a better word; I can't exactly say "stage presence" when talking about a CD. If that's the impression I get from merely listening to a recording, I imagine that it must be quite an experience to actually see him onstage.

I definitely can't send the 7th disc considering I have no idea how to send mail from out my campus but I am glad to see that I wasn't the only one who had issues getting the CDs out. I had to do it for like 10 minutes just to not break them.

I know! I tried to be careful, but I didn't realize that breaking them was actually a possibility. When I was taking that disc out, I guess I wasn't really looking at what I was doing or paying attention. I didn't notice it was broken until after I put it in the computer and it wouldn't burn. (I'm making a copy to bring to school so I can leave the good ones at home.) If at some point you are able to or figure out how to upload a CD onto your computer and feel like sending it to me, I'd appreciate it greatly. For now, I'll continue my search for the 7th disc.

Thanks for the pics, To The Stage! I'm sorry Alix, but I can't help... I don't have the book on audio CD yet, but I plan to get it in the near future, so once I have it I'll try to help out if you still need it.

On another note, I was in Italy last week and I saw countless Italia jackets... needless to say I was reminded of Anthony. =)
