Dude. That's practically Canada. Ooo! Sarah! *kidnaps, drags past mounties over border*
UGH, Fredonia is only like an hour from me. But of course, I have to work.
I'm flying into Rochester Saturday afternoon. I could totally go... Oh, no I couldn't. I just MapQuested the distance. I wouldn't make it. Crap!

I wish Anthony's booksigning info would be posted like they used to be. I would've included that in my vacation this weekend. But, I'll be so bummed if Anthony is in my backyard so to speak, and I don't even know about it.

New book signings
Hey all --
For those of you who may not know, the paperback release of Without You is underway, with some stores already beginning to carry it, and in celebration of this milestone, I have a small handful of book signings coming up. Here are the dates and locations (I don't have all the info about all dates, like exact times and stuff, so you may have to do some research if you want to come):
October 25
University of South Carolina
Columbia, SC
November 1
UConn Storrs
Storrs, CT
November 2
Barnes & Noble
Manhasset, Long Island, NY
(This event is co-sponsored by the National Marfan Foundation and will feature information about their important work, as well.)
November 13
Borders
Buckhead location
Atlanta, GA
November 14
University of Georgia
Athens, GA
December 7
Barnes & Noble
Union Square location
NYC, NY
That's everything that's on the docket for now. As always, thanks for your continued support of -- and kind words about -- the book. Its success has far outstripped any of my wildest imaginings.
Also, thanks to those of you who tuned into Kidnapped and sent congratulatory messages. Alas, it is a cancelled show now, even though it was a critically acclaimed, damn good hour of television. Hopefully there will be biger and better projects lurking around the corner for me.
Take care, talk soon --
Anthony
Awesome! Ask and I shall receive I guess. =)

Anthony makes an appearance in an upcoming independent film, Let Them Chirp Awhile. According to the film's website, the film is "a comedy about moral relativism, combining slapstick 'silent film' sequences, talking pigeons, the first scenes ever filmed in American Apparel, and a 9/11 play to die for." Anthony plays himself.
Here's the link to the movie's website.

Oops, I found out about my kidnapping a little too late :P. I wouldn't have been able to go anyway.

Mariel, thanks for your post about Anthony's upcoming appearances.
Does anyone know if he's coming back to the Chicago area soon? I know he was here back in February, which had I known, I would have been there (my own stupid fault).
bbane- I'm guessing the dates he posted are the only ones appearances that are definite for now. He may go back to CHicago. But if it's not posted, he probably won't be. Sorry

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Oh well, I'll get over it, I guess.
*sniff*
OMG Anthony was amazing. I cannot believe I finally met him, yay! lol He was SO sweet. A wonderful speaker too :o) I'm getting my pictures developed today, so I'll post them up sometime tomorrow. I'm super busy this week with work and school, but I'll try to post a review of the lecture and book signing.
I tried to go, I was going to skip work and everything, but when I called to get a ticket the lady told me it was sold out! Good for Anthony!
Anyone going to the Manhasset, Long Island one? I am...mostly because of who it is co-sponsored by.
I plan on calling soon

Clayford--I am so jealous of you that I cannot see straight. Please post pics soon. Thanks.
*takes deep breath*
Anthony was in an episode of Spin City called "An Affair To Remember". I wanted to let you all know that it plays on FX every weekday morning from 9-10am EST. His episode is coming up I believe this Monday at 9:30. My DVR is set.

Anyone see this?
Hey all --
Just wanted to celebrate the enormously thrilling good news that came out of New Jersey today: the Supreme Court of that state declared that the state's constitution does in fact grant gay couples the right to marry.
Can we get an AMEN?
Rodney and I talked years ago about getting married, but we wanted to wait until we could do so legally, which I knew was only going to be a matter of time. Massachusetts has laws that prevent out-of-staters from having their marriages recognized in their home states, but New Jersey has no such laws, so now it's legal, and we will in fact be getting married. Some time next year...
This is great news, especially in the wake of some defeats in the courts in the last couple of years, plus news of more and more anti-gay-marriage initiatives being pushed forth.
It's always nice when the People in Power get something right for a change.
Take care --
Anthony
Congrats to Anthony and Rodney!

Aww, congratulations to Anthony and Rodney!
And, on another note, HALLE-FRICKEN-LUJAH for New Jersey.
Wow, that's really awesome, congratulations to Anthony and Rodney! What a great birthday present!
Actually, reading that was the first I heard about the situation in NJ, so that's amazing.
Okay, I was already excited about the news in NJ, and now this? YAY!
Oh that's so great! I'm so happy for them!
