Ha... I recently watched AiB with a couple of friends who had never seen it before, and they said that Anthony looked like Rupert Grint (Ron), also. Odd.

Fairly graphic. There's nudity, but during the first sex scene, the lights are down almost all the way and the actors are under blankets -- obviously, since it's only simulated. BUT it... er.... looks and sounds pretty real. The second one is done a little differently -- lights up, brief nudity directly following (I think?), but also fairly graphic.

Um. They're completely naked onstage and having sex. Like, if it were on TV, it would only be allowed on HBO and Showtime. It's...not something I would recommend seeing with your mother unless she's *incredibly* open-minded.

She is usually extremely openminded...but shes just uncomfortable seeing sex things...*shrug*. Hrm...my only issue is this would be the only time I will ever be able to see it probably..maybe I can blindfold my mom...*raises eyebrow*. I don't want to just go with my girlfriend because I am seeing Rent the night after without my mother and we are only gonna be there for a few days.

Anthony

Are you going at night? She could always see another show. Or she could go out to dinner. It's just...if she's uncomfortable about sex, this is definitely not a play she should see. And honestly, I really really liked it, but the thought of seeing it with my mother is....disturbing.

Yea, I'm planning on seeing it at night. She told me today that she already bought the tickets, so I guess we will see how it goes. She isn't usually uncomfortable with sex or anything, its just with seeing it around me cuz I'm her daughter, I guess. But I told her what..err..someone on here said and she said that she'll be fine. I was planning on just getting her to read the play before she bought the tickets but yea, she jumped ahead of me.

I can't wait to hear the rest of your report, mariel!

I really liked Red Light Winter, I wish I could see it. My mom actually read it too, after reading Without You.

The gig portion is turning out bigger than I originally thought. I hope you guys like really long and detailed reports. I'm really making sure I'm capturing everything, especially for you people won't be able to see him perform (like you CanadianSnowbird). I'm hoping to get it posted within the next couple of hours.

Nice pictures... I just came back from NY. On the bus in New York the guy sitting next to me looked exactly like Anthony, same hair glasses everything. But it wasnt him. I saw RENT it was great but it cost 20 dollars to take a pic with the Matt Caplan. The only goof in Rent was that MiMi had trouble blowing out her candle and Roger couldnt light it lol.

Hey wanderingchild, nice to have you back!

I did that same thing, the $20 picture with Matt and Carey when I went to see RENT back in october. In the picture I'm clearly standing closer to Carey then Matt.

Anthony

Wow, $20 to take a picture... good way to make money, I suppose. Wanderingchild, I'm glad you enjoyed seeing Rent!
