Okay. I got THE friendliest guy ever.

He says that no, you don't have to buy the book there. He was like "noooo, of course not!" He says you should try to bring a reciept if you have one, just so they know you didn't like... smuggle their books off of the shelves and whatnot. But he said if you bought the book a while ago, that's fine and everything.

As for limitations, he said that it's typically up to the person doing the signing. Some people only want to sign one thing, and some will sign anything you put in front of them. He said the only times the B&N staff get involved in putting limitations on how many items you can get signed is if there are a ton of people, and they need to move things along, because to be fair they want everybody to get something. So he said unless there are like 2 bajillion people there, he didn't think it would be very strict.

He said that if there are any problems or questions, just talk to the security guards and explain to them what you want to do and they should be fine with it.

I'm not positive yet.. I can go any time I want, but as of now I'm getting there at 4.

You got lucky, Em. The guy I talked to was nice enough, but basically knew nothing.

*tries to scrounge up reciept from book*

Um...I'll be getting there pretty early. I suppose 4, unless my mom delays us. (I sound like such a good, loving daughter, don't I? )

...I don't know what time. Hmmm

I still have the amazon box it came in and the papers along with it. I'll bring it just in case.

I've probably whined repeatedly about this, but all my friends that are even remote Rent and/or Anthony Rapp fans are away for the vacation. And going with my mom is good too, of course, but I'd rather go with someone that's read the book, you know? Especially since it's, well, a book *signing*.

Basically I'm just hoping I'll see some of you there.

The person I'm going with hasn't read the book and isn't nearly obsessed with RENT and Anthony as I am, nut I'm sure we'll still have fun

Aww..it's okay. I had to go to Bryant Park with my mom because my friends were at camp. I'm going with my bestfriend and two other girls who asked to come. I didn't really want them coming..but whatever, It'll still be fun.
