I made a shirt for the Chicago signing, but I haven't been able to get the Inapropo tshirt order stuff running in time for this

Try to make homemade ones, you can buy iron-on letters at the store, it only takes a few minutes to do. And they're pretty.

I went to a thing once and met with a bunch of message board people there. We all wore those stickers that say "Hi, my name is..." and we put our real first name and then on the bottom we put our board name. Made me feel less like an idiot.

Getting there early is good, at least for me because I got to talk to him ahead of time. But then again, the bookstore in San Fran was tiny, so there really wasn't anywhere for him to hide out for 2 hours.
