In high school I was in the International Thespian Society, HIV/AIDS peer educators, Chamber Choir and Colorguard. But at the same time I was doing concert band, marching band (mostly doing colorguard stuff since I was a captain and in band I had to make sure the two routines worked together), all women choir and concert choir during the actual school day. Plus I was dancing like 3-6 days a week. Sometimes I wish that I had more actual clubs but I ended up getting sucked into band/choir/drama stuff all the time. Which in the end wasn't so bad since it's all pretty much gone away since I got out of high school.

I'll bring mine, and if I have to buy it, I will. I'll just have mine signed. I could return it or give it to my friend as a gift. It's not a big deal, but it's annoying that they are inconsistant.

I'll probably bring money to buy it just in case they make you show a reciept or something, but I'll throw a hissy fit if they make you buy one there. Really.

Does anyone remember this one guy that would post all this stuff about the movie Rent being homophobic because it de-emphasized Collins and Angel's relationship? It was really pathetic.

My university doesn't have a GSA. robbiej (BWW poster) was actually one of the founding members of it about 10 years ago, but at this point, we've kind of surpassed the need for an alliance.

I write for the paper. Or I should be. I've had writer's block for a few weeks and I'm avoiding my editor. Anthony Any ideas?

D_I, that was art2 and he did the same thing on the IMDB boards apparently. He was just a troll and we just screwed around in his threads and never took him seriously.

I have to get off the computer now. Goodnight everyone, and I hope to see some of you tommorow!

Yea I write for the school newspaper, also. I'm also in Improv. That is really fun. We got to see some of the Whose Line guys when they came into our town. That was awesome.

I can't believe someone said that about Rent. The fact that they were treated as a NORMAL couple is good! I wish there were movies that had that in it. Gay couples are always treated so differently, even if they are accepted.

And if anyone has the chance, you should go see the movie 'Imagine Me and You.' That is a really funny movie, but I don't think it is out in a lot of places for some reason.

I *love* Home at the End of the World. Wasn't it a book first?

Yes. The book is INCREDIBLE. I read it on the bus to Disney World last spring break and then saw the movie and... I love them both so very much.

People online...sometimes scare me. I've talked to one girl who was talking about bringing vegan fingersandwiches for Anthony, along with chocolate chip cookies. *facepalm* Who also claims to have his phone number. Which scares me.

And then theres the girl who left comments going on about how hot she thinks he is and how she thinks about him all the time and loves him. Which is nice and all but... whoa.

Makes me feel reaaaaaaaal sane, guys... real sane.

I went to Penn State, and we did have a GSA, but I was indirectly, not directly involved. I was the public relations chairperson for the AIDS Walk event a few years back, and we had Kate Shindle (a past Miss America) come to speak, as AIDS awareness was her platform. I am, of course, now hitting myself for not trying to get Anthony to come.

You should've told that girl to do it! I would've loved to see his reaction to that! As nice as he is, I'm sure he still wouldn't be able to hide some kind of shocked facial expression.

I was wondering if as they get more calls and see that it might be even bigger than they thought, they'll change the policy. (If only they knew it's really just us calling so many times. Anthony ) I figured I'd call in the morning and see what they finally decide or if we all get the same answer.

I just realized that Adrienne Curry from America's Next Top Model, The Surreal Life, and My Fair Brady is also from Joliet, Il. Just thought that was interesting.

Creeepy. I love how, in the video where he explains how to make fingersandwiches, when the cameraguy first brings it up, he looks faintly horrified.

Ah, art2. I never took it seriously (I was actually lurking back then) but it got old fast. Especially when he started attacking Anthony personally.

I saw commercials for 'Imagine Me and You' and now I want to see it. Also, random, but I can't find the original 'Happy Together' song anywhere. Just the remix by Simple Plan or whatever.

Thats cause Illinois people rock XD

I found it amusing when I was reading through Anthony's book and I would say things like "Black Rd? HEY! I know where that is..." My grandma lived a few blocks away from his family.

My high school GSA meets every Tuesday... though we're not considered an official club, because the board "can't afford" the approx. $200 dollars to pay our 2 sponsors. Our school administration has approved us, it's our district board that's homophobic. They were like... maybe if you change your name to the "Spirit Club" or something. HAHAHA.

Was the video of Anthony doing a soundcheck taken off until he looks at it, too, or is mine just messing up?

Edit: Imagine Me and You was really funny. I got to see a free preview of it and I never stopped laughing.

And I noticed the look on Anthony's face in that video when the fingersandwiches were brought up. I probably would've done the same.

Alix - I honestly think we won't know the final policy until we show up. I think people are just misinformed, and that's why we're hearing so many different answers.

they probably think like three times more people are going than will actually show up, from all of the calls!

S=D, that poster was a troll and no one here took him seriously.

Um, Fizz didn't you bring him finger sandwiches? Not to start another war, but these examples don't seem that much worse/different from what you've said in the past.

Um, Fizz didn't you bring him finger sandwiches?

No, I know someone who did.

I think its a great idea to bring him fingersandwiches, but what I was facepalming was the chocolate- because chocolate has milk. Which comes from an animal and all.

I admit I'm a bit...awkward, but trying to find his phone number-? I don't know, seemed a little too much for me. But then, thats just me.

And don't worry, I didn't think you were trying to start another war :)

I'm glad no one took the poster seriously, but unfortunately, someone still thinks that way. *sigh*

Anyway, everyone have a good time tomorrow at the signings! And everyone have fun tomorrow getting the Rent DVD. I'm headed off to bed.

That's probably true. However it gets set up, it will be lots of fun and we'll get to see him!

Semi-random thought: I listened to the This American Life clip last night and it really freaked me out. scary
