*shoves her way into the thread again*
Opiv, maybe I'm naive, but I'd think he might be flattered that your copy's obviously been read. I personally feel more attached to books that aren't in perfect condition; I usually buy them to read, peruse, pore over, reread again and again, not to keep them on a shelf where they sit and look pretty. Plus, where I'm living, I'm always stumbling upon wonderful little used-book stores :).
It took me a long time to read, because
1.) I had to stop every few pages to laugh or cry for a few minutes
2.) It was quite late, and my eyes would kind of drift every once in a while
3.) I was trying to savour it while getting through the whole thing in one night. Bad combination. Same thing happens with Harry Potter books.
I haven't been able to find the clip either...
I just realized that I'm celebrating Singles Awareness Day a bit early, because I'm sitting here at my computer with my two best friends, Ben & Jerry. Party on!
Haven't you gotten the memo? I said, EVERYDAY is singles awareness day.
It could be worse. We could have gone hunting with Dick Cheney.
XD I just read that new running joke and HAD to use it.
Yes, I did get the memo because that's how it is for me too. Everyday is Singles Awareness. I happen to like it that way.
I just made the mistake of grocery shopping while I was hungry Sunday evening. Those two guys just jumped into my cart!
I don't mind it either.
And...two guys jumped into your cart? Humans or like...food?
XD I just reread it. Ben & Jerry. Wow...I missd that the first time.
Oh, I was laughing too. I can't believe I just looked over the joke. I was really confused. I actually thought two guys jumped into her cart. Then I realized, Hey, people don't do that often. So I reread it.
HAHA XD
Did you read the one:
"Dick Cheney now joins Aaron Burr as one of two vice presidents to shoot someone while in office."

No, it's been introduced in the Ohio House. It would not surprise me if it passed. I am just so angry right now, who gives them the right to do this??? I'd really like to know what the opinions are of the children who on the streets, in abusive homes, or in orphanages- I bet they just want a happy home and a family...
EDIT: I'm sorry if I killed the thread, I just really needed to vent about this.
