I totally understand. The reason I asked is because the part where she said Adam kissed you on the cheek, I was thinking to myself, hmmm...Adam must be a very friendly guy. I mean, I'm sure he is, but that makes a lot more sense now.
He's a very friendly guy.
But this is like super-friendly. I sure as hell was shocked, even though he's more than used to me by now.
I totally had one of those "I'm not washing my face ever again!!" cartoon character moments.

hahahahah, as would I.
That's really cool you've met him so many times. I remember reading a post of yours a while back where you were saying how nervous you were the first time you met him, looks like you've made some big strides, besides for the occasional cartoon character moments. But really, who can blame you!
She doesn't count because it makes her feel better about her obsession. Ask her how many times she's seen Chitty
Mandi, I know, I know. But if I'm supposed to be scaling these hills with vertigo, you can make it with a Rent book!
Seriously, whose idea was it to build it up on a hill? I had a class at Syracuse Stage twice a week and it took me half an hour to hike back up to my dorm afterwards. *kicks hill*

boo, I wish I could meet him oh well. I got my book, so I'm happy! (which I ordered no less than 3 days ago from www.bn.com :) hehe)
I think I'd literally melt on the spot if Adam (or anyone I worship [in a healthy way], for that matter) kissed me on the cheek...if I couldn't physically melt, I'd definitely go into a fangirl hysteria. Unfortunately, I can't control myself. I'll have to suck it up and get it all out of my system in the car ride to the booksigning.
Granted, the first time I met Adam I had no idea who he WAS. I was just scared of him because he was a new person, and I'm shy. I think I get more nervous now.

haha I actually met Ryan Seacrest and took a picture with him...very offtopic, but I remember so many people were like "OMG OMG OMG RYAN SEACREST IS LIKE SO CUTE I LOVE AMERICAN IDOL blah blah blah like like like blah blah blah." And I was so whatever about it, didn't really phase me at all. I have a feeling my nerves won't even be a tiny bit close to that calm while meeting Anthony.

bohemian-- picture him without any pants on
Breathe in. Breathe out.
And remember that he's just a person. And that he's nice.
Ok.. well I'll call Barbras Bookstore tommorow to see what they need I really hope not that many ppl show up well not more than like 100
Breathing would be good . I know that he's really nice, so that should help.
Yeah, the only "freaking" out I really do is just talking entirely too fast out of nervousness, which is embarrassing, but is infinitely better than screaming and crying like some people do. I've had relatively normal conversations with people I've met that I admire (see left) because I didn't want to waste the opportunity with stupid fangirl behavior.

Okay. Well, I'll call Barbra's Bookstore tomorrow to see what they need. I really hope not that many people show up. Well, not more than like 100.
Try it.
ETA -- I never get why people scream and cry and hyperventilate. I... no.

I don't talk fast but I don't speak correctly. I mispronounce words and stutter...not hardcore stuttering, but you can tell that I'm nervous.
I just stop talking when I get really nervous.

How do you think it feels for the celebrity though? I always think about that...
My problem is not talking too fast or anything like that... I just don't talk at all. I lose all coherent thought, along with all knowledge of the English language.
I talk fast ALL the time. My voice shakes when I'm nervous.
I think they think it's odd that people are so afraid of them. I remember telling Anthony flat-out that I'm afraid of Adam, and he was like "really? Why?!" They're humans, too, and they seem to like it better when people act normally.

Yeah. It must be flattering at first knowing that you've affected people to the point where they can't think/speak coherently, but after a little while it probably gets kind of weird

Well, yeah. I mean, you can't talk back to someone who goes "uhhhhhhh..... aaaaaaaaah." They sort of look at you like "er... I don't know what to say to that." And it's awkward not to be able to get a conversation going.
that's gotta be cool. Who here shakes when they're nervous?
ooc: has anyone watched High School Musical on Disney?
When Im nervous like when I met Kristoffer cusick I freaked out and couldnt understand what he was saying and I'm going to see Wicked for a thrid time just so I can talk to him agian and not be nervous
