When I'm nervous, like when I met Kristoffer Cusick, I freaked out and couldn't understand what he was saying. I'm going to see Wicked for a third time just so I can talk to him again and not be nervous.
I'm sorry

hmm I haven't met that many famous people. Ryan Seacrest, I went to a taping of American Idol so I didn't really meet the judges but I was about 5 feet away from them. Umm, I saw John Trovolta and Uma Thurman in California, I met Queen Latifah at an airport, Jesse Mccartney (don't even ask), the girl from Princess Diaries the best friend that was also in Welcome to the Dollhouse...I think thats it!
I have met.....no one! yay me!
well, I did see simple plan once, at a concert.
lucky you all!
wait....
Wow, I've met many famous people. Maybe when I'm not too lazy, I'll write their names....lol like Julie Andrews,Bono ect...
you've met Bono?! awesome!
Thanks Fantab
Yeah, it's so weird to explain to their friends or other cast members or whatever about why you're so nervous about meeting them, because to them, it IS no big deal.
Even better RentHead, I get Christmas cards from Bono too!
wow! that's awesome!!!!!
I want to meet at least someone famous before i die!
Which should be soon, cause I'm so clumsy! lol

Rent-head, unless the famous person really means something to you, and you really look up to him/her...it isn't that thrilling
I...haven't met famous people. I think I'll be nervous and excited, but it will probably turn into a happy/perky/calm "Hello!". I mean, I'm not one to go up to talk to people--at least I wasn't. I had a hard time ordering food. I've gotten over that...for the most part. I try to turn my nervousness into kindness. It works. I mean, everyone thinks I'm a happy/outgoing/kind person so it must be working. I mean, he is a person. The good thing is that it only takes a minute or so for me to get comfortable with a person--that is, if they are friendly back.
well, a lot of people mean something to me, but still. I'd get excited.Like If I met like my heros, then I'd like faint right there.

xoxRogue-- I had a hard time ordering food too! Then I got over that, but I was too scared to make appointments and call information for numbers. It sounds stupid now, but I still get some anxiety when doing stuff like that.
I made my first appointment a while ago! It was a big accomplishment. I was very proud of myself and my friends and family were also. And, I don't like answering/talking on the phone...Even though there's caller id in the house, I still screen my calls. Sometimes I do it even if I know the person. I'm cruel.
I'm awful at making phone calls. AWFUL.

People always say its the best thing I do. Like I'm really good at interacting with someone on the phone.
I have to psych myself up to make calls, even if I'm just calling the receptionist at work or something- and I talk to her all the time in person.

Kudos for making your first appointment!! My shyness gets better with time. When I was little I used to hide under the table when company used to come over, I was even scared of my grandparents and aunts at one point. Now I'm ordering in restaurants and answering the phone more. This post is really making me feel socially inept, I'm really *not* crazy
talkin on the phone?I get nervous cause I always think it's a serial killer saying he's gonna kill me if i hang up.
I never answer my parents phone when I'm back home because they don't have caller ID. Mainly because I'm worried it'll be my grandmother or something. And it usually is.
Yea!! Like that movie whats that called? LoL
