Sorry, I have to bring this here to be able to comment on it; I don't think anonymous comments on LJ are a fair way to have an argument.

Fizz, you claim your community isn't elitist, but what else are people supposed to interpret from this "Rent secret" you posted? The fact that Anthony has taken his own time to see what fans have posted is so amazing and rare and humbling- so why do you have to turn it into a competition?

I can't remember his character name, but he was part of life support with the short curly hair. He was one of the bash/smash brothers (can't remember the exact name) with the bandana in Mighty Ducks.

I was angry when I made that. Now, I'd appreciate it if you removed it, because I'm no longer seeing it that way. I'm not the nicest person when I'm angry, I'll admit. I've had a LOT of crap going on, and I really didn't need anyone yelling at me. I don't need it dredged up again, thank you.

Oh! Speaking of cameos, Wax Lion!

Every time I saw the movie I was too busy staring at the main characters. I just noticed 'So You think You Can Dance Guy' because his hair makes him...stand out a bit.

Sorry, but you made your bed when you created this and posted it online- regardless of your state of mind- so at least own up and deal with the consequences. If "I was angry" is your only excuse, maybe you should learn from this and react differently next time.

Since Rent secrets is supposed to be anonymous, I really don't see the point of bringing it up *outside* of that community.

I.... uh... don't get what the main issue is here. Is it that the community is elitist, or that it's overly smutty? If it's the latter, then I don't see why the elitism is an issue, since theoretically any "decent" person wouldn't want to join.

Sorry if this is obvious or obnoxious, I'm just trying to keep things straight.

I personally don't believe we're elitist OR overly smutty. Even if one is not accepted into the community, they're encouraged to join in the discussions.

Asking me to take it down isn't owning up. Especially if you would have just deleted your comment if had I taken it down to make the whole argument go away. I just find it hypocritical of you to post it without a second thought on Rent secrets, then want to hide it on this board.

Dramatic, Rent secrets is anonymous so people feel comfortable posting their secrets without worrying about people tracking it back to them. Fizz- and the other Inapropo Thought moderators- made it quite obvious who they were through their post, so obviously they didn't want it to be anonymous.

I don't mean to be rude or anything, but this is obviously just going to be another long drawn out argument between the two of you. You both have your own opinions and are obviously not switching sides. Although I do feel that this thread is a place for all to voice anything they want, I don't entirely think it's fair to drag this thread into another is inappropo good or bad debate. It creates a lot of uncomfortable tension, and I'm getting kinda tired of it.
