I was shocked to see kids under ten at the signing!

I think kids nowadays are able to handle a lot more than they could when I was a child. But maybe that's just me.^_^
I don't think they can necessarily handle more, they just have different things to deal with. They're definitely a lot more spoiled, though.
Ok at the signing anthony was wearing these shoes

I think these are the ones but he didnt have shoelaces and were like sewn together. Do you think he had them made like that? Or can you like buy converse like that?
there's new converse that don't have laces--they're slip ons. I just bought a pair!

I'm too lazy for laces. These sound like the shoes for me. I got excited last year when those sneakers with velcro and elastic came back into style.
Ok how much did yours cost?

Anyone want to buy a book from me? I was under the impression that you could bring outside books to booksmith, so I got two from other sources . I will sell my unopened amazon copy for $25. (I got one to read, and one for Anthony to sign. Am keeping the one with pizza stains!) I have no other huge fans of Rent in my life, so PM me, if you want a copy.
On another note, VERY glad that I will be able to take snapshots at the reading. I can get a pic with the imfamous Whiteboy Spice. I thought video would be prohibited anyway. Plus, I have trouble using my handds, so wouldn't be able to do video anyway. Now what other item to bring? my Remt, other cd, or the poster I got for Christmas. Decisions, decisions! However, I totally get why he can only do one other item, as he would be at the store until the next day otherwise!

Heeeyy, Anth was wearing those shoes at the Interlochen screening too...
Were you surprised at all by the fans who showed up, especially in light of the context of the book's content? I'm thinking particularly of the groups of 11-year-old girls.
I'm kind of a mixed thing on that. I was a bit surprised to see younger fans there, but didn't think it was necessarily a bad thing. I think it all depends, person-to-person.
My own parents didn't censor me too much within my own life and I think I turned out relatively okay XD
My mother knows I know about this kinda stuff(I mean, hello- even if you're extremely sheltered, in public high school you hear about just about anything), so I didn't have a problem handing the book off to her to read, and I know she's just gotten past the slightly higher rated content stuff, and she had one or two minor comments but she didn't chastise me for reading it or anything.
More than anything I want her to read the book so not only she can share why I admire Anthony, but because she had to watch her mother go through dialysis, and I've watched my mom go through chemotherapy and may very well watch it again.
I went off on a bit of a tangent... hmm.
ANYWAY- for the signing. Had a blast, met up with a few people that I met at the Interlochen screening, one or two BWW people(Thanks Mariel again for helping with my damn camera!), and the girl who was in Amneris in Aida with me. After a while of standing in the line Jonathan pulled out his phone and there was a singalong with us and some people we didn't know. Fun times XD
One of the funniest moments of the night, near the end when we were standing around and across the store there was this huge crash, and there was dead silence for a second, broken by Anthony yelling "IS EVERYONE ALL RIGHT?"
Wait was that last night?

I have small feet two. I have to wear velcro bowling shoes. I can also fit into children's clothes, although I refuse to.
I just never untie my laces. I like my running shoes.

I have fairly big feet, size 9 or 10 depending on the show. I was so excited one day because I could fit into size 9. Granted then I have a friend who wears like size 3 kids.
I have huge feet they dont look huge tho 11 ta 12s

Just to bring this back to Anthony.
I wonder what size Anthony's shoes are. (I really don't care. I just figured I'd say that)

Hey guys! Well, since I didn't make to the chicago signing, I'm using some of my tax return money to book a one day flight to dallas, the next closet city! It'll be kinda cool though because it's the 27th, the day after my birthday!
To those who have already been to the signing: about how many people were present during the time he was there and how early did you feel it was necessary to arrive at the book store? Just for my own use so I don't end waiting for like 5 hours (unless I have to!)
Thanks guys
I came like a half an hour early and it was packed but I got great seats (on the floor) lol I could have reached out and touched ant! lol

Buy men's ones! I have a pair in mediumvioletred and they're in men's sizes... in girls I wear 7 1/2.
Wait was that last night?
Yeah, you had probably left by then(btw, did you see me? I was in the group that when they got bored started singing... by the bookshelves where they filed people after they stepped down from the kids section).

Well it was snowing while I was driving so I couldn't go as fast as I would have liked, I got there at like... 7:10ish and I was standing. I had an ok view though. We had ... I'm not good at estimating. Anywhere from 100-200.
Everyone also spazzed cause me and Emily told Liam to ask for a tango picture and he did. So thats a total of... around five or six people Anthony has tangoed with for pics.
