Well, first of all, I highly doubt it's him, and secondly, you'll be able to tell right away based solely on his writing style. I assume by now you can recognize the way Anthony writes and signs posts -and would presume he would do the same in an email.

Hey everybody --

Just wanted to let you know that in conjunction with my book tour, I've been able to book a couple of gigs. Please come and spread the word. They're all-ages and inexpensive, and I'd love to have an opportunity to perform for as many folks as possible.

First one is in San Francisco on Saturday the 18th at Cafe du Nord at 7:30 p.m. $12, all-ages. info can be found at http://www.cafedunord.com/

Second is in Boston at the Hard Rock Cafe on Monday the 20th. Exact times and details tbd, but it will be *free* and all-ages.

And the third is in New York at the Cutting Room on Tuesday the 21st, following my Barnes & Noble signing event. It's a late-night, all-ages show, starting at 11:00. Cover charge is $10.

That looks like it's him - you can pretty much tell just from the way he uses the dashes at the beginning and end.

Can you post the link from where you got that one?
