Ah, much thanks.
I really have to ask what our educational system is teaching these children. What their parents are doing to help. Etc.

Well, I can't say that I'm completely normal, lol. But at least I can use proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar, unlike other people on this board.
Define normal.
I use proper spelling and grammar! Go me!
hahaha true.. well I'd like to say that I try to sound as intelligent as possible and contribute things as times. I don't consider myself a rabid fangirl, although I am a fangirl . I don't think it's bad if you like fanfiction, to each his own, but IMO I think it's weird and I don't like it. It's also one thing if you use charactres like Mark and Roger, but another to use Anthony and Adam.
"Define normal. "
haha, i love that--i used to say that all the time

There's a book by that name. It's pretty good. Or it was the last time I read it...two years ago I think.
mauriposa, since you haven't responded to all our previous comments started by your argument, do you now understand our position?
yeah Katt, theres a book called Define Normal, if that's what you meant. Its okay. A bit predictable, though.

I own the book but I haven't read it in about two years I think.

We already knew that Mandi
Normal is a relative term, so I can't make a statement on my normality at this point.
By my standards, I'm quite normal, but I'm not sure how I stand up to other people's standars of "normal".
If you're looking at my school's definition of normal.. I'm about as different as it gets.

orangeskittles, I always understood your point. I was actually going to respond earlier, but I decided to return to my drama-free existence instead. The only reason I said anything in the first place was because it seemed as if people were being ostracized because of their (and I don't like this word either) fandom, and I just wanted to make it stop.
There's something of a discrepancy in *starting* a bout of drama and then in the middle of it, when things get too hot, deciding *then* to return to your "drama free existence."
Okay, part two of this thread just made my weekend. Truly.
Just out of curiosity, how many of you are lj-ers? I'm on there (and in the "rent" community) under the same s/n.

Jyn, my grandma called me Noey, heh. My mom still calls me Nono (in FRONT of people). It was kind of funny when I was little. I didn't know the word was just "no". To me, it was "nononono" because that's what I had always heard: "No no, nono!" I was like seven before someone told me I was wrong.
They have the big cardboard RENT display thing up at Target now. I stood there for three whole minutes trying to figure out how to get it off of the wall, under my jacket, and into the car. Then my mom pointed out that my getaway would have been hindered by my crutches. I need more calcium. My fragile little bones are seriously disrupting my life of petty theft.

I opened an LJ account, but have done nothing with it. I thought I'd write there or something, but then decided I wasn't quite interesting enough for that.

There's a difference between *starting* drama and defending someone who's getting picked on. :o)
And don't for a second think that I backed down because things got "too hot." I'm an Italian woman. Nothing is too hot for me.
Topics had changed by the time I went to post again, and I didn't see the point in starting things up again. Had orangeskittles not addressed me personally, I wouldn't have broached the topic again.
