re: What TV Shows do you watch?

ooh - forgot Boston Legal - a truly funny and often thought provoking show. Shatner and Spader are one of the greatest duos television has ever seen. There, I said it.
Hi, Shirley Temple Pudding.

The Daily Show/The Colbert Report, Degrassi, How I Met Your Mother, Pushing Daisies, Scrubs, and as much as I'd hate to admit it, American Idol.

And the DVDs of Queer as Folk (US).

Oh, I forgot about SAMANTHA WHO?, that's another great show.
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"

Samantha Who is pleasantly funny. I hope Jean Smart gets an Emmy or something because she cracks me up every time she opens her mouth.

I've started season 6 of Wings.

The whole female cast of SAMANTHA WHO? is great. I love Jean Smart, but to me, the coffee shop outings with Christina Applegate, Jennifer Esposito, and Melissa McCarthy are the reason to see the show. Particularly, the interactions between Esposito and McCarthy make for priceless TV comedy.

EDIT: I forgot Gossip Girl and Degrassi
"You have two kinds of shows on Broadway – revivals and the same kind of musicals over and over again, all spectacles. You get your tickets for The Lion King a year in advance, and essentially a family... pass on to their children the idea that that's what the theater is – a spectacular musical you see once a year, a stage version of a movie. It has nothing to do with theater at all. It has to do with seeing what is familiar.... I don't think the theatre will die per se, but it's never going to be what it was.... It's a tourist attraction." Stephen Sondheim
