What are you doing during the blizzard?

We have about 20 inches so far on the ground, so I am stuck inside. I have a pot of split pea simmering in my crockpot. There is a lavender Yankee candle burning on my coffee table. My Rabbi just called me and we gabbed for 45 minutes as she was bored. Later this afternoon I am goping to watch The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman on PBS.

Probably make some Grilled Cheese. Catch up on some SAT homework (if i get around to it) and aimlessly sit around my room watching TV.

I am thinking of driving down the coast here in Southern California and I might have lunch at the beach.

It's 10:16 am and 71 degrees with a high of 84.

I had a sleepover at my best friend's house last night
We woke up to about ten inches of snow

So I'm snowed in all through tonight
Currently we have NOTHING to do

The little snow that we got last night is already almost completely melted. And I was hoping for enough to cancel classes tomorrow. So now I have to start writing a huge essay due tomorrow (that I was hoping I wouldn't have to turn in if it snowed enough).

Still in my PJs...listening to my suitemates cry over their nursing homework. At the same time, I'm doing my work for my Campaign Management Class and studying the Greek Alphabet so my Pledge Mistresses don't paddle me

last night i went to kismet, then to palm, then played around and made snow angels in the street... today i'm going to lincoln center to see michael john's show... the show must go on! as for right now, i'm drinking hot tea and watching snow fall over riverside dr.

Im snug in the house.

I've got a good fire going in the fireplace, Yankee Candles' Vanilla Carmel burning in the other room and a batch of baked ziti in the oven.

It's still coming down heavily on Long Island.

NYC Schools are notorious for never closing. I may have to take a sick day tomorrow to shovel out from this mess...I'm certainly not about to do it now.

I am stuck inside my apartement, watching bad tv, and trying to read...but for some reason, I just can't seem to get into it...Project runway is on, might as well watch that.

I am suppose to be doing work but at least I did a lot this morning. I'll pretend now is a break. Just a really long break :)
