I celebrate Xmas (note the "X") purely for commercial consumer reasons 
CQOT~ when you you live in FL, it's not something one sees everyday, but I kid you not: a massive 200 lbs deer with antlers ran through my yard a few short mornings ago
I thought it was cool

Mary Ethel, my bday is also January 26 :)
On Christmas Eve and sometimes on Christmas day, I go to a homeless shelter and help serve food to those less fortunate. Then I go eat chinese food and go see a movie. I have also gone skiing a few times on Christmas day.

I think that this year, just for fun, we should all try to get our Chinese waiters to sing:

Like every other "Christian" holiday, Christmas is a mix of Christian and pagan traditions. It was put on December 25th because it's close to the winter solstice. And if the Christmas tree doesn't scream pagan, I don't know what does.
Anyway, I never even knew about the Chinese food tradition until I got into high school. Maybe it's an American thing? I usually do nothing on December 25th, just like every other day of Christmas break.
