It turns out that he's now given up his dream of starting a plumbing company (he's not even licensed, btw) and is going to leverage his new found popularity into a "career".

So why are there more stories about republicans "outraged" at democratic "attacks" on Joe "the Plumber" than there are stories that Joe "The Plumber" is a total fraud?
Imagine if footage turned up of old lady confronting McCain at a rally, saying she lost her life savings in the Keating S&L debacle and can't vote for McCain because she lives on dog food now. Then imagine that investigation showed she never had money in a Keating S&L, didn't lose a dime, and was the niece of Theresa Heinz Kerry. The media would never stop attacking.
