Posted: 8/8/06 at 6:15pmI only got Broadband in the last three months, until then i had dial up. Before then, my was not 'in the broadband area', in otherwords the phone company didn't want to have to run lines out to the outer suburbs. Ireland is so behind the times.

I didn't knwo you were in Ireland.
When I lived in Ovilla (outside of Dallas) we had dial up, because broadband wasn't available in the country.
It sucked.

Posted: 8/8/06 at 11:03pmI still have Dial-Up at my mother's, but that's only because we can't afford DSL. My dad has great DSL though and I'm there more often than here, so if I need to download stuff I just wait until I'm over there.
