What about the tubes? WHERE ARE THE TUBES!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
"You need a computer and a phone."
Wow. Dial up is so 5 years ago.
I can't watch it...
I'm too distracted by the pictures on the right.
Does anyone still have dial-up?
I think my stepdad does. But they don't use the internet enough to have cable. I think he gets on once or twice a week, and that's just to check his email.

No swears my holy sh!t fuc*ing god @ss hole.
That was a long time ago
Dial-up used to drive me crazy! Especially when I was online downloading or printing out something, and then someone would pick up the phone to make a call.
Yeah. I remember when it would take me all day to download a song. Not anymore.
Internet...
YOU KNOW...
It's that stuff girls used to spray on their hair in the '60s to hold its style.

I only got Broadband in the last three months, until then i had dial up. Before then, my was not 'in the broadband area', in otherwords the phone company didn't want to have to run lines out to the outer suburbs. Ireland is so behind the times.
I didn't knwo you were in Ireland.
When I lived in Ovilla (outside of Dallas) we had dial up, because broadband wasn't available in the country.
It sucked.
Fiction Writer, by "country" do you mean the USA or the land outside cities and towns?
Yes, Linnie is from Dublin, dont'cha know?
I mean land outside the city. Ovilla is about 15 minutes south of Dallas.

With everything else in it, it would still be funny without the dail-up.
And thanks for posting, robbo, I loved this.

Wow! Thank you, Al Gore, for inventing Internet.
(I am kidding)
And when did we start using the definite article, 'the' in relation to 'the' Internet?
Oh, and a friend of mine still has dial-up. I laugh at her.
<-- oh so you tilt your head to the LEFT to understand those things. Crazy crazy world.

I still have dial-up, we don't get high speed where I live
(I guess by 2007 our entire township will have wireless high speed internet though)

Did I make aa stupid mistake that I still can't figure out? (I hope I don't look too niave)

i was making a joke about your living in a township. thats why you still have dial up
I still have Dial-Up at my mother's, but that's only because we can't afford DSL. My dad has great DSL though and I'm there more often than here, so if I need to download stuff I just wait until I'm over there.
