Ah, the bad old days of modem noises. In retrospect, I was either really patient or really bored back then. Remember how pictures would start out fuzzy and then get clearer over about 20 seconds?
I have a friend who still has to use dial-up because her house is a little bit out of the zone for cable and DSL. Ack.
And I had no idea Canadian news broadcasts were so snarky about the U.S. :P
