A couple of years ago, my friend broke his leg, and was walking around in crutches. So when he walked into the lunchroom, my group of friends and I started screaming things like "Hey cripple, over here!" And at that very moment, without my noticing, a boy in a whhelchair and his caregiver came in. She gave me the most incriminating stare EVER.

I tried to explain myself to her, but she obviously didn't speak English. But Jesus, she understood "cripple"...
