I'm sorry, who was the one person NOT asked to your little DC gathering???
That would be this S over here.

Oh, sorry, my fellow ENTP!
I'll blame that on my P-influenced absent-mindedness.
Good to know: I took this test awhile ago and got ISFJ, and when I just took it again I got the same results :)
I don't think I've met another ENTP before. Atleast one that was aware. Updated On: 5/6/06 at 10:29 PM

I have. We clashed horribly. Heh.
I tend to "click" the best with INFPs.
Hey, Rath, just remember that you're the one who called yourself an "S," not me.
ISTJ. What's interesting is that I took this test over 25 years ago and it was ISTJ then too. Only the T's and J's were almost evenly split on the high end. Now I only have 1 lonely little T left and I'm HIGHLY judgemental.
Must be old age.

I'm an ISTP
That's really cool, it described me perfectly.
I know, Penny.
I'm an INTJ
distinctively expressed introvert
slightly expressed intuitive personality
moderately expressed thinking personality
moderately expressed judging personality
Now I'm trying really hard to recall what my best friend from middle school was...it's failing me IN__. I have a feeling that I need to subject people to the beauty of meyers briggs once standardize testing tones down. I want to buttheads with another ENTP. People should walk around with stickers proclaiming their personality type. At the PICNIC!

Mamie - I was told that the basics of our personalities don't change throughout life. However, we spend the first third of our lives delevoping our personalities, the middle third using the stregnths of our styles and the last third of our lives are spent (if we're wise) developing our 'shadow sides'.
INFJ--says that less than 2% of the world is this type...I always knew I wasn't like everyone else!

When it started by saying I was an introvert I stopped reading. If I am an introvert, I have conquered that so thoroughly no one would ever guess...including me.
Beisdes, my parole officer makes me take these all the time and they are never accurate! I keep saying, just because I wipe down all the weapons before I leave the crime scene, doesn't make me Obsessive compulsive-- I just don't like leaving prints.
INTJ
For the most part, that's me, but I can be a hopeless romantic when I want to be.
I don't know Moony - It just seems that the scoring I had was much more...... balanced (?) before. Now I'm very definitely...
... UNBALANCED

Well now, of course that COULD just be the case!
ISFJ

ENFG.....Expressive, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging. That seems to be me.
ENFJ-good personality for a psychologist. Shocker.
There's a slightly more modern personality test/model that if you guys are interested in, you should take this test. It's called the enneagram:
http://www.enneagraminstitute.com/dis_sample_36.asp?discover
This is a free sampler, there's more advanced versions of the test.
I did a huge research paper on the enneagram, and it's really interesting. There are 9 basic types, each actually corrleates with one of Jung's, except the 3. I don't remember why.
I got perhaps the highest score possible on the advanced test for a 2-"the helper" which correlates w/ an ENFJ.
On the enneagraminstitute.com website, there's a lot of more info and other info in books that's really interesting. I know the site does have a whole how-do-you-match-up-with-the-other-personalities section, that's fun. I'm not sure how much of the rest of this stuff is on the site, but they also have a wing--a subpersonality type, making each personality type more distinct. Then Riso & Hudon, who made this test, divided each type into 9 levels of health. The 9's deal with psychosis, and 1's are rare--Mother Theresa is a level 1 2 for example.
Then you can add in the instinctual type--self-preservation, social, sexual, the different triads, the key issue each type deals with, integrating(becoming so healthy that you develop some characteristics of the next personality type on the scale of integration, or disintegration, which is vice-versa.
Okay, sorry, it was just a huge paper I wrote, and I couldn't believe how much I found examples of everyone I knew. I realized I even completely followed a disintegration/integration path, etc. It was eerie how right on this stuff was.
I'm right on the borderline between F and T... like, one question either way. I think INTJ is a more intriguing personality type, but INFJ probably describes me better.
