I don't think I'm cooking anything special for Memorial Day. . . I just cooked tons of food last week for Shavuot so I'm through for a couple more days. We're going to a drive-in tonight so I'm going to (hopefully) treat myself to some cheesecurls.

I'll post my shavuos menu though

Day 1 lunch:
Homemade whole wheat challah
olive dip
shepherd's pie
soy sauce and garlic green beans
mushroom sherried wild and brown rice
mandarin orange cake for dessert

Day 1 dinner:
Challah (dips, etc)
chuck steak
schnitzel
leftover rice
potatoes cooked under the steak

Day 2 lunch:
challah
avocado hearts of palm salad
spicy hot pepper dip
baked ziti
mushroom quiche
broccoli quiche
baby blintzes
salad
cheesecake for dessert

I don't know yet, but it's not going to be a nice barbeque or anything. More like takeout.
