Remember to do as much shopping as u can at independent/small chains such as Best Buy, Virgin Megastore, the Wherehouse, local indie community bookstores, etc, etc. Avoid online stores, Wal-Mart, Borders, and all those other huge, conglomorate chains that r stomping all over the little guy and as a result our communities at large!
Oh, and buy ur produce/Christmas trees from locally-owned farms, and ur coffee from independent coffee houses/chains ... avoid Starbucks at all costs :)
That is all.
Pass this on to as many people as u can. The vast majority of higher-ups in corporate America don't give a damn, so it is all up to us to stand up for morals and principles and do what is right!

Look on their website, and they're nearly an independent chain ... started in the 1960's, and like Tower Records did, grew and evolved over the decades ... just as endangered as other record stores. Tower was operated by the same small company that owned Sam Goody and still owns the Wherehouse (an extremely endangered store; not too many exist).
