The same thing happened to me. I asked him out and he told me to drop dead. I figured I was just too ugly and trying to jump over my head by asking him out. I just thought maybe once I'd beat the odds. It certainly wasn't a very pleasant day for me. But, I haven't given up hope. Maybe after my plastic surgery I'll look better to him. I'll keep you posted.

I think CATSy might mean "put out" in the less "common" sense. Like perhaps "put yourself out there". Maybe? Hopefully?

I'd hop the fence for you too, though.
