As the visiting team, I find it much harder to keep track of my bat and balls. And sliding into home base is always tentative with an unfamiliar playing field. I like that I know where to get a beer and a dog between innings when I'm on home turf.

Of course, I enjoy basketball, football, tennis, golf, hockey...
Why limit one's self to just one game?

I suppose it's really sad that I must admit I always preferred individual sports.
Oh well, it was always cheaper that way at least.

Individual sports have their place too, DG.
Biking, swimming, skiing... and you can also play those in teams on occassion.

Posted: 10/27/05 at 2:13pmI always thought I'd have the same doubles partner. But when he left me standing on the court with only my racket, team sports became an interesting option. As my friend Carol from the UK always tells me, "It's all about sport!"

Who doesn't love working up a good sweat during physical activity?
Playing sports are good for you!

Single, doubles and team sports are all fun.
Team sports can get a bit competitive, though.

This was quite the athletic thread today...
I think it's time for a cup of tea...to calm things down a little.

For business or pleasure?
I have to start to plan a few adventures. I was trying to get over to Paris in November, but want to be with my family for Thanksgiving, so that will have to wait until the winter. I will probably go skiing out west at some point in the winter, and get to Florida (assuming there is still a house there...). Next Fall will be a return to Italy. I hope.
Business is all over the place. From Tulsa to LA to Torino...
