As the visiting team, I find it much harder to keep track of my bat and balls. And sliding into home base is always tentative with an unfamiliar playing field. I like that I know where to get a beer and a dog between innings when I'm on home turf.

But when you're visiting you're more likely to get the beer and dogs brought to your seat.
Oooh, I love talking baseball.
Of course, I enjoy basketball, football, tennis, golf, hockey...
Why limit one's self to just one game?
Team sports can be way fun.
Rugby...

I suppose it's really sad that I must admit I always preferred individual sports.
Oh well, it was always cheaper that way at least.
Individual sports have their place too, DG.
Biking, swimming, skiing... and you can also play those in teams on occassion.

No team sports for me! Yikes! That is creepy. As Dgrant knows, I do not like to play "skins".
I always thought I'd have the same doubles partner. But when he left me standing on the court with only my racket, team sports became an interesting option. As my friend Carol from the UK always tells me, "It's all about sport!"
Who doesn't love working up a good sweat during physical activity?
Playing sports are good for you!
Single, doubles and team sports are all fun.
Team sports can get a bit competitive, though.
Unless you're a jockey.
I've had a jockey in the saddle that really knew how to whip me to the finish line.
Harness racing?

Never tried harness racing. I do like thoroughbred riding.
This was quite the athletic thread today...
I think it's time for a cup of tea...to calm things down a little.
Psst:
Pass me a glass of peach pear sangria from Barna.
Shira, sports are fun!
Well, look who is here! I will gladly pass you some sangria. Cheers.
Sports...ha, I was wearing my water polo sweatshirt today too.

Sangria is tasty. Addy what is your next travel destination?
For business or pleasure?
I have to start to plan a few adventures. I was trying to get over to Paris in November, but want to be with my family for Thanksgiving, so that will have to wait until the winter. I will probably go skiing out west at some point in the winter, and get to Florida (assuming there is still a house there...). Next Fall will be a return to Italy. I hope.
Business is all over the place. From Tulsa to LA to Torino...

That cracks me up that you go to Tulsa. Colorado to ski? My partner has a great place near Vail.
