I wish it cracked me up. Mostly I can't wait to get out of there.
I have family in Colorado, so try to get there, but I love other areas out west for skiing also. No shortage of great places.

I have cousins in Denver and traveled there like ten years in a row for Summer vacation growing up.
Brdlwyr, I am surprised to see you up and around. I would have thought that Chicago would be suffering one, big hangover!

I rooted for the Sox, but I am a Cubs fan, so early bedtime for me last night.
Addy... the NW has some great skiing. Hopefully we'll have a good ski season this year. I'll try to get my yearly fix at Whistler, BC in January.
I've never skied at Whistler, but I hear it's great.
No shortage of great places to go, right?
We have two great 'day resorts' (no overnight stays) near Seattle, within 1.5 hours away, where I go at least once a week. There are a couple smaller 'not so great' ones nearby too, one of which is only 50 minutes away.
Then there's the mother of all resorts, Whistler. I think they now have about 8,000 skiable acres, an awesome village, great party town. Lots of good shopping and fantastic food.

I have found the theme for my next party: PINK TIE!
A pink tie affair! How excellent.
Undi, there's a lot do to for non-skiers. Like taking beginner lessons.
OR shopping. Or hanging out at the pubs for aprés ski.

I lived in the heart of ski country in Colorado for years - even at the base of Aspen Mountain for awhile - and I've never tried it once. They have to figure out another way to get me to the top of the mountain!
I adore skiing!
I think we could combine our Rainbow Room soiree with the Pink Tie theme. Tres elegant!

The Pink Tie Affair at the Rainbow Room.
Even that sounds classy.
I'll have to find the perfect gown...

In case Mr. Everett decides to join us . . .
Damn. I missed the sports talk!
ConEd and Tivo. Two thumbs down.
Happy Friday to all.

Definately looking forward to the weekend. Tonight is probably dinner out with the family. It is report card and we are anticipating a very rare C's for C10 and maybe even C12 in Math. They normally get mostly A's with a few B's.
Tomorrow - I am going to an adult party solo for a long lost friend. It should be interesting and also "fancy."
