Of course, KMF. I'm really worried that Michele is injured. The US skater (name escapes me) who took the silver a couple of weeks ago was wonderful. She had such an elegant line to her skating. She was a last minute replacement.

Oh Pip -- we can help you there --
Dottie -- that was Alissa Czisney -- a real up and comer, but to be honest I thought she had another year or two before she burst...she had a great skate last weekend in Halifax...

This is going to be quite a year, both with Michelle and Sasha hurt...Johnny Weir just got cleared to skate in Russia this month after his injury last weekend...I am afraid that the new scoring system is once again changing the face of skating...it's all about points now and accumulating the best tricks...those true "great skaters" who combine the artistry with technical skills seem to have lost the freedom and joy of skating....just watch Johnny Weir's performances at any ISU event last season and Nationals (the last of the 6.0 competitions....but I digress...back to Addy's afternoon party....(good lord, what will happen when the season gets into FULL swing -- you won;t be able to shut me up)

I don't know, K, I enjoy watching it, but I just don't have a passion for it...Glitz has tried to "turn" me, but it hasn't worked yet. I had to give up my gay badge around here once because of it...
