I'm going to have to disagree with yall. I love Cars! It isn't my favorite, but I still love it!

Ratatouille is my personal favorite but I think the best has to be between Toy Story, Finding Nemo or Wall-E. Is anyone else excited about the upcoming Toy Story 3, Newt and The Bear and the Bow?

Even though I felt that silly dogs and bird worked against an otherwise perfect film, I'd still say Up is the best Pixar movie, by far.

I just saw Up yesterday and loved it. Definitely one of Pixar's most imaginative and complex films, though there were a couple of minor plot missteps I noticed in this film in the first viewing that I didn't notice in most of the others. My pics:

Ratatouille
Finding Nemo
The Incredibles
Up
Monster's, Inc.
Wall-E
A Bug's Life
Toy Story
Toy Story 2

"Wall-E" and "Up" both have absolutely brilliant beginnings. Then, about halfway through, they degenerate into little more than a herd of characters chasing each other around for way too long. It's most of the remaining running time, actually. They're still terrific films in the end, but they miss the mark when they launch into these overextended antics.

Their plots basically stop while they run after each other for 40 minutes. It's the illusion of activity when nothing is going on.

Most animated movies today are little more than elongated chase scenes, so thankfully that puts the majority of the Pixar films way ahead of the pack.

But, of all their movies, I think I like Ratatouille the best. A rat who wants to be a chef? Loved it. Plenty of running around in the kitchen, sure. But I didn't feel the story dying out in the process.

Would have to say "Toy Story" as well -- Cant wait for #3 !!!

I loved "UP", but thought it was a bit overrated.

Up is the only one that brought me close to tears. Loved every moment of it.

I really did not like UP that much. I don't know why, I just didn't get into the plot. Favorite by far was The Incredibles. Followed by a tie of Toy Story and Finding Nemo.

I think the best animated short before a Pixar film was the one before Wall*E with the magician. I laughed until I cried. Actually, I liked that one more than the movie itself, and I loved Wall*E. But then, I have a very immature, slapsticky sense of humor, so no wonder!
