...showed the actual plane crash? I remember seeing it in the commercials on TV but dont know what episode it was featured in...thanks. :)

The actual plane crash was never shown during season 1. The pilot episode(s) only showed the plane on the beach after it had crashed. However last week we were shown the actual crash of the tail section into the ocean during the episode "The Other 48 Days".

Well I suppose it depends on what you mean by "crash," you never see the plane actually crash into the ocean/island, whatever, but in the pilot you see flashbacks to things that went on the plane and when it started to shake and fall down and the tail broke off, that was in the pilot.
