Hey - I said break a leg - and hopefully your eye is OK by the time you go on tonight.

hep: I have no freaking clue! The doctor said it's a very straight line, so it doesn't look like the kind of injury you'd get if there was grit in your eye and you rubbed it too hard, or something like that. He thought maybe I scratched it with my mascara wand or something...like, if I was in a huge hurry backstage...but I don't think so. My theory is that I got some hair (my hair is very straight and the strands are razor-fine) caught in my eye overnight, and I somehow ripped it across the eye as I pulled it out in my sleep. Sounds weird, I know. But I can't think of anything else. :-P

When I was in 2nd grade, I was reading a book and gave myself a paper-cut in the eye. I wasn't happy.

Hey, guys! Just felt like posting this. The spot operator from Anything Goes (back in the Fall) just sent it to me. It's pretty cute!
