Yes, brd - I got here last Thursday, and leave on Monday. I've been able to spend some time with Addy, Cookie, Boobs and Papa - and have some more encounters lined up
The theatre has been a little up and down, but I've enjoyed what was . . . well, enjoyable.
DEUCE - an excuse to see the two icons once again - unfortunately in this play.
GREY GARDENS - enormous talent, onstage and creatively - but my issues stemming from the subject matter persisted.
YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING - somewhat static, but saved by the LUMINOUS Ms. Redgrave.
LES MIZ - My first time seeing it on stage (I know, HOW is that possible?!?) Pretty mind-blowing - and the Valjean was great!
MOON FOR THE MISBEGOTTEN - I thought Spacey should be embarrassed. Ms. Best and Mr. Meany gave it their all - but the ridiculous portrayal at the center derailed the entire piece for us.
