The kids came home with excellent grades, C9 and C11 had top honors. C9 also received an award for his attendance and an award for behavior, etc.

How is Saturday? We have a beautiful day here, despite the horrible outing by the Cubs. The June swoon started in May.

Winter has come with a sudden chill. Saturday looks pretty murky, so far.
Sorry about those Cubbies. I think you need to be their recruiting manager. You'd fix that bullpen.

Sunny today, but cooler than it's been. June is supposed to be cooler than May.

Hi DD, I am sitting on the deck on a beautiful night in Chi.
The kids are playing a loud game of hide and seek.

Anything playing in your hood? We will have CP, Jersey Boys and Wicked open at the same time. And then Piazza has a short run.

Yes, it is not until the Fall. It is playing in the huge Auditorium Theatre. I must upgrade my tickets. It will be a date with Mrs. Brd. I am going to take clients to Jersey Boys and we have our season tickets.

Excellent. I am going to buy season tix to the 5th Avenue just to make sure I get Jersey Boys tickets.
I loved the Piazza tour. It's closing in Chicago.

Well, I made the cardinal sin of jet lagged travelers -- I took a nap. Fortunately, as a member of the early 20's generation, I can sleep tonight without issue. I hope.

Happy Friday people of Mojito land. Brd - glad to hear your summer has begun. I still have 4 full days and 2 half days and then my summer begins. Can't wait.
Shira - glad to hear you made it back to LA safe and sound
I have been too busy. Granddaughter was confirmed this week. Son and new girlfriend from Chicago are in town to go to a friends wedding. The last girlfriend was sort of a nightmare so I have better hope for this one.

Well, Brd, if you are referring to my granddaughter, she is 15 and I wish she was too young for boyfriends. I hope that when your daughter gets that old you do not have the issues I see at school. My grand daughter is having her own issues and is driving her mother crazy. I try to help but it is hard. My son is seriously looking for someone to marry but his choices have been questionable. We are hoping for better luck this time.
