5:30 was when I had to wake up this morning, I had to be at work early today to get the kids up and to school. So yes, I just woke up from my nap.

I wish my work would have a snow day....They stay open no matter what unless it is State of Emergency (high executives live right down the street..but if they can make it in then so should we).

I have been chewing down vitamins all day, I think I'm catching something, and that isn't an option right now.

Tell me about it, L! One time, they called school the night before...and not one single snowflake had even fallen yet! But I love any excuse to spend all day cooped up with Starina and Little Sir.

It was good to have Caldwell B. Cladwell back, too. It was the first time we have all been together in a week.

When there is a snow day in NYC, I have even more work, because the kids don't have school but the parents have to work. So I work more.

Love affair to the test:

When I got home, I got the notice to update my "Airport" - the WiFi "application" on macs. Ever since, my mac won't recognize my wireless connection. Thankfully I still have my PC... not very happy right now.

DD - I had mentioned that I was having to use a MAC while I was at my friend's house in AZ - and it really didn't work well for me. While I was truly impressed with what he could do concerning his music writing, for what I use them for, it was kind of a pain. But I know you have serious intent for the graphic applications, so I hope you get it worked out!

There was a time when Macs were by far superior to PCs, but those days are over. For graphics and music composition, we will continue to use our Macs, but my next computer will NOT be one. Mine is in the shop right now...after MONTHS of tangling with Apple about a faulty computer that was only 2 months old when it started having MAJOR problems.

I am also a very unhappy Mac owner right now! AAARRRGGGHHH!

Macs are for nerds.

Price is an issue that is ignored, Macs are expensive. You can buy a cheap PC that will do basic functions.

I had this problem when I first moved here with my PC, if you all remember. I will go to the mac store tomorrow. I need to have internet access... I hope it's an easy fix.

And trying to get a hold of someone at apple is impossible. You have to be online, but I can't get online!!!

We have three PC's here, I should connect the fourth.

Now that I have worked out the kinks, I love my laptop with Vista!
