Hi, Hep! How's the weather by you?
Baddy, I really want to see Brynn...do you think she would let us visit with her after the show? The kids would LOVE that! We're going to be there for 5 days in April. I'm sure we can make it to Hairspray that week. Did you get discounted tix through Bway Box or what?
Hot, Miss P, hot.
Miss P - That would be great if you could see it. I would let Brynn know that you would be coming. She loves having fans. Yes, I did get the tickets through broadway box. Going to go get my jammies on get comfy. Thank goodness I still have the day off tomorrow but I do have to babysit a cute little baby though!
Wow, sounds like the NYC trips this weekend went very well!! Glad everyone had a really good time and good experiences.
Did you see any other shows other than Hairspray and Drowsy?
Mo (I have decided this is your, your...sobriquet),
We saw Blind Lemon Blues, Grey Gardens (of course!), Adrift in Macao and The Apple Tree. (Baddy didn't see the Blues show. She saw Jersey Boys instead.)
hehe, "Mo" is cute. Wow, that's awesome! A co-worker came bouncing into my office today to say she got offered tickets to "this Grey Gardens show, should I see it or give them to someone else". I was tempted to make the show sound bad and take the tickets, but I told her I have heard wonderful things about it, and she is going to go. I have never heard of "Blind Lemon Blues".
Blind Lemon Blues is a ten-performances-only show starring Lillias White and some other wonderful people.
We're thinking about taking both kids to Grey Gardens next time. Starina definiteluy wants to see it again, but Little Sir, I'm not sure how he'll find the drama. Oh, what a dilemma!
Hep, please define this word hot. What does it mean??????
Five days of 100 degrees or near 100 degrees.
Mo?
Glad you made it home safe and sound, Ms. P.
100 degrees? Yeah... not so much. I'll stay put.
That's a good description of hot.
Guys, I was being SARCASTIC! It's just been so freaking cold here that I was "pretending" that I didn't know what "hot" meant. I guess you had to be there.
I like "Mo." It's what a lot of women named "Maureen" are called.
The Mighty Mo!
Miss P, I must confess to being more than a little envious of your weekend.
lol, much different than my real name, so I can have yet another new identity! woohoo! =)
Just wanted to make sure that DD understood that "Mo" is a feminine diminutive and that I wasn't referring to "Moe" of The Three Stooges!!!
Hep, if you had been here, you would have frozen!!! It just wasn't a great weekend for walking in the city...at least not at night. Thank god for theatres, hotels, restaurants...and nice alcoholic beverages to warm you up!!!! I wish you were coming up here soon.
I wish that I was coming to NY, too!
I just missed whatever the heck you guys were talking about.
Instead, I, Shira, have become an adult. I JUST filed my STATE and my FEDERAL taxes.
I'm so damn proud of myself, I would give myself a medal if I hadn't already had cheesecake.

I can see a star!
*claps hands*
It's SHINY! Thank you DG!
Ooh...I forgot to tell everyone that at shows, we sat near Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward at Apple Tree and Julia Murney and Anthony Rapp at Drowsy. On our train today was Dani Moore. It's so much fun seeing the "big people" among the "little people" (like me.)
Even better...
(If you can't see it, it says "Gold Star Wine".)
