You read carefully, TB-in your first post you were defending the author of the thread in wanting to report name calling. In your last post your opinion of reporting name calling is a complete 180. I know the thread turned silly but you seem to have changed your philosophy. That's all I was questioning.

Yeah, but come on. I've been here long enough for you to realize how contradicting I am. lol I should be living in wonderland with Alice and the white rabbit: where what appears to be is not, and what it shouldn't be...it is.

In all seriousness, if someone's feelings get hurt by the name-calling then I don't think it's funny; but for those that were joking amongst themselves, I did find that humorous.
Ex: When Dame originally posted a "Hussy" remark I snipped. But then I realized that it's part of Dame's charm, and now I find it quite endearing.

To answer the question posed in the original name of this thread:

You need to PM your shrink to set up an appointment to discuss why being called a name on an internet messsage board bothers you to the point of creating a thread about it in the first place.

TB- Hi. I'm guilty of not paying enough attention on message boards. I have a tendency to respond to a post which interests me regardless of who wrote it. I may vehemently disagree with someone on a particular topic, but totally agree with the same person on another. I don't like to hold grudges because I had a different opinion on a subject. Wait, I think I'm digressing here. What I mean to say is that I didn't notice that you have a history of changing your mind mid thread! I noticed it on this one, though, so I commented on it. No harm done, thanks for explaining!

lol that's okay. It's not really a good thing that I do that. The truth is, I sometimes change my mind after reading other people's points of view and/or arguments. I might see their point and therefore be persuaded to change my mind. I am not against contradicting what I originally say if someone has enlightened me in some way. The problem is that on a message board it comes off kind of funny and looks like I'm just being an ass.
I also don't like to hold grudges with people. I am a very debatable person. I love a good argument and sharing opinions. :) I might not agree with someone on a particular topic, but next topic I might completely agree with them.

hah. "report abuse". people abuse eachother here all the time, sure sometimes it gets old, but it wouldnt be the same if not.

i dont think i'll ever report anyone, its too funny when people (including myself) get so heated over internet posting. its also fun to watch, i cant wait for the next findingnamo-voiceanth square off, but i havnt been able to find a good way to instigate it- Dame, could you help me out; tell one of them that the other called them a hussy, lol

I definitely hold grudges, I just don't like it. lol
I tend to not keep grudges with people on the internet because its ridiculous to hold grudges with people you don't really know. But people I actually know in person or that I once considered friends that piss me off...hell yeah I'll hold a grudge!
