Who here has done the ancestry.com DNA testing?

Has anyone here done this and found out anything interesting? My dad just got his results today and found out he was 19% European Jewish. So that was both exciting and shocking to find out. We’ve always assumed he was half Irish and half Czech.

My mother was adopted in 1945. Last year, she did this and was ultimately introduced to some of her biological family on her birth mother's side!

I did - the results were truly fascinating! I spent significant time and can trace to The Netherlands to 1300 and England to 1400.

Absolutely worth it!
