Just curious.
i saw that AIGOO joined a month after me and is now a legend and im a star.
MANY MANY People.
This is because I joined at the height of the Wicked crazieness.
she means who joined after u and posted enough times to get there so heres an example, kushiner u have been there about a year more than me and we are the same rank so she means like if i was a legend and u were a star youd say theatreboy49 became a legend before i did but joined way after me, follwo?

gavrochegirl is one that comes to mind
About half of the people on this board. I was one of the first people to sign up it would seem, but I didn't become a legend until about a year ago.
Who didn't? But DAME and Mary_Ethel each racked up Legend status in record time, if memory serves me right.

Some people become "Broadway Legends", rather quickly, huh?
Sooooo many people!

Way too many people...and I'm STILL not a legend lol
Ditto, out_of_tune_thespian!
Over The Moon is one example.
But it's quality of your posts, not quantity.
but i think even those posts that mysteriously disappear count toward your total
Haven't kept track, but I'm sure it's a lot. I still have a ways to go, though I'm in no rush
I think BSo as Phantom Chicken holds the record, and rather obnoxiously so, no?
(I wink to show that there was no maliciousness in my post - not because the Phantom spamming wasn't annoying, which it was.)

I agree it should be about quality not quantity. I didn't think that and just kept posting on game threads a lot to get done wiht it when I was close. I should of spent more time making better posts but now I do try to make them better. I barely play those game threads now too. To go along with the topic many people have and I probably beat some people to it and I'm sort of not really proud of how quickly I became one. It was months after I joined but I still would of been happy if I was still at the first step now.

Just about EVERYONE--I feel like I've been on longer than most, and I'm STILL not a Legend...
Maybe Little Fish or another 'oldie' can answer this for me: When did this board actually start? If you were one of the first, than it must have not been around very long before I discovered it...
I'm not an "oldie" but I believe it started in May of 2003.
I'm sure I will be corrected if that is wrong.
Between the time I joined and became a Legend few, if any, made the jump. I am an opinionated, pompous, blowhard. My posts are myriad.
It took me nearly 4 months to become a legend, and in that time, so many others became legends. And so many of those don't post anymore.
What really annoys me, though, is when I see a Broadway Legend that I've NEVER seen post before, and this has been happening frequently...
The kind of posters that only participates in one or two threads, occassionally venturing to a newly started one on the same topic.
YES, Rentheads, I am talking about you...
I don't know. I became a Legend pretty quickly---about two weeks after joining. 11 months and almost 9000 posts later and I'm still here.

It took me a while to become a legend so... a lot of people. And while I agree that it is "quality" not "quantity," sometimes you start to have a conversation on a thread that builds up your total rather quickly. And there's nothing wrong with that.
In reference to the question of when it started, Rob, Craig, and Jose' all joined in May of 03, in that order.
I've been here since May 03 and just became a legend last month I think? So....pretty much everyone.
Quite a few. I have been around since April 30, 2004, and I have but 578 posts. I would like to think that I am the quality or over quantity camp.
I am frequently amused when people announce, with much fanfare, obtaining the designation of "Broadway Legend" after repeatedly posting things like "LMAO" and similar inconsequential "musings."
Since I'm not one yet, and have been here longer than most, I'd say everybody.
