Interestingly, they seem very drawn to me. I think it's because I treat them like everyone else. Either that or I'm just so freakishly different than normal humans re: Who needs a MOJITO time? (The sequel)

I have a similar reaction from them. I talk to them as adults.

Just kidding, I hesitated on that. I really try to never offend anyone here.

I am actually working, I just received the lab results on a case involving intoxication - he was wasted - 1.43

I love SNW (just to bug Dame.) My wife will not allow L5Y - she can't stand all of the whining.

He's giving a concert with Lauren Kennedy this Saturday night at the Grove Theatre in Upland. I know it's ALL THE WAY out in Upland - but it's really an easy drive straight out the 210.

I know, I KNOW! The owner of the theatre (Sherry Kinnison - Sam's ex-sister-in-law) has gotten to know him, and arranged for this event. It's not the greatest venue, but it IS a chance to see them. I'm not really aware of his work - just haven't encountered it yet. We did see him at an ASCAP workshop he participated in last year - and we really liked him. VERY intelligent, witty, aware - and knew just how to present himself.

Plus, since we're kind of connected to the theatre, it will be a good chance to meet him and Ms. Kennedy away from the usual industry type hubub.

In Los Angeles you could one day be 55 minutes from someone and theo ther day be 2 hours from someone. Same distance. It all changes every day. You just never know.

We usually luck out in that our travel times are frequently against the traffic. We usually make it anywhere we want to go in about an hour or a little less.

I can usually get home in about 20 minutes in the car. A few weeks ago in the rain - a record 1:35. I only live about 7 miles from the Loop.

What has been your worst traffic nightmare out here? I once ad a 2 pm flight and left my house at 11 am. ( usually takes 5o minutes to get to the airport). I missed my flight.

Good morning mojos...

DAME, that's scary. *takes note*

Re: Jason Robert Brown, I love Last 5 Years, as you might've concluded by my recent infatuation with a local production that I saw 4 times. (they did have 3 different casts) I like some of "Songs for a New World" and didn't really get into "Parade".
