It has to be removed.. and they want to do it fairly quickly. This is all second hand info. My dad just called me at work ( which is a first). Hopefully I will talk to her soon.

Thanks Dgrant. I just talked with her. She has to go for a MRI tomorrow and and bone scan on Friday. Just to determine the extend of the surgery I guess. She is shocked and putting her work affairs in order.
