I never admit to a hangover, but my head is a little thick.
Beautiful day in Chicago.

Good day mojitians! I wound up being stuck at work for a few hours today, then a semi-surprise party for the bf (his b-day was Wed.). Day is gorgeous out... sunny, crisp.
I am quite out of touch with movies, Dame. The only one out there of the commercial films I want to see is "Sin City". There's a movie out (I can't remember the name) of the Israeli soldier who befriends the kids of a nazi... it sounds interesting.
We have "Maria Full of Grace" on dvd... maybe we'll watch tonight.

Posted: 4/9/05 at 6:40pmIt's ok... still shaky. We were 'sposed to move-in together in May, but it's been postponed at least 6 months. Right now it's awesome, but gotta wait until my next show picks up. Sorry to hear you're having issues too...

Yeah... I'm not. That's why I said no... that was the drama last week. My next endeavour's gonna keep me away a lot more than ACL did, so we'll see.
Having a nice evening? I'm surprising him with a belated b-day celebration... his favorite cake and some balloons...

Posted: 4/9/05 at 9:43pmGood. Sometimes I wonder if gay men were really suppose to live together.

My best friend in DC and his partner will be together 20 years this year, and have never lived together. I think we move in too quickly. Before we know each other well. My bf's complaint was that he'd never waited A YEAR to live with someone, much less 1.5 or 2, then I reminded him the length of his move-in relationships wasn't spectacular. (2 to 3 years)
My ex- and I dated for 9 months when we moved in together and lasted 11 years... then again, he's still my ex-.
I think we're on to something here... waiting. What a concept!

Posted: 4/9/05 at 10:06pmI think that goes for gay or straight couples... sexual orientation doesn't matter when it comes to relationships and moving in together.

'xactly.... though it appears, more often than not, that gay couples move in together a lot quicker than straight couples.
How's your evening, liotte?

Hi Tico! My evening is good, just relaxing at home, as I had to work this morning and will be at Adventureland on LI with 30 3rd/4th graders tomorrow all day.
How is your evening everyone? Tico? Dame? Any fun plans for tomorrow?

All relationships take work whether it be lover, spouse, son, father, etc.
Dame - certainly many marriages and relationships last longer than necessary because of living together. Did we not learn in grammar school that shelter is important for animals to survive? My sister who is about 35 is living with some boring 50 year old man - she does not love him, but he pays for everything including her son's high school tuititon.
Back to other stuff.
How are you all? Just came back from a boring wedding reception. Exactly how long do you expect me to not have a drink????
