I just heard from Sir K who is sipping champagne on his terrace in France and thinking of me.

Oh, Sir K should so not be checking in with us (well, except for the Addy note)... he has more important things to be doing, like spending quality time with his honey....

My roomie and I are planning to fly into DC and come up to NYC for a couple of days... we're hoping to catch a show too.

I stay with my sister in NE - Columbia Heights. My trips are to see her and my niece, and usually rather short... 2 or 3 days. I try to go as frequently as I can.

My mother in law is west of Georgetown in NW. We will likely go sometime this summer.

Nice area. My sis pretty much lives in a "not so nice" part of town. (my bad... it's also NW) A house her hubby bought back in '96... the house has increased in price like 300% at least since then, so he doesn't want to sell/move.

I used to live there and love it.

Don't you love last minute deadlines? Just when I thought I was almost done with the stuff for tomorrow's conference, I find out I have to put together a 50+ slide PowerPoint presentation. Another night at work...
