shoot! my computer crashed and I missed all the shenanigans...
Addy... those Truffles sound tempting! And I can fly to NYC on JetBlue for like $180 or something like that. Madness I tell you!
Mom, ever been to the Tulip Festival near Seattle?

Sadly no, but I have heard about that one (I think)
In my old house there were tons of tulip bulbs. In the new house every time I plant tulip bulbs the bunnies, racoons, woodchucks or other wooland critter decides I have left them an all you can eat buffett.

Yeah... that used to happen at my old house in the Seattle 'burbs.
If you find yourself in the Seattle area during the month of April, just gimme a buzz and we can head up there! It's awesome. Fields and fields of tourists... ahem... I mean, tulips!

Snow! You're getting all our snow! We had a very warm year and hardly no snow on the mountains. Very sad indeed.
My garden problem were moles. Lots of moles. You'd wake up in the morning and there were 3 or 4 new mole holes... ugh! And we had a racoon family that lived in the creek nearby. And bunnies... and this is the suburbs... we lived just down the street from MicroSoft HQ. Go figure!

Tulips and truffles and offers to fly to NYC... I'm as happy as can be!
Cheers to all!

Posted: 2/14/05 at 6:34pmmom: If you've got someone with kitty litter, use that to "mark" the borders of your bulbs... that could the critters away...

Posted: 2/14/05 at 6:35pmJust spreading the joy around...

The pictures in that link are so beautiful, ElTico.
Reminds me of when I was in Holland for a wedding in April a few years ago... splashes of color everywhere.
#686re: Who needs a MOJITO time?
Posted: 2/14/05 at 6:50pmI am seeing splashes of color right now. The same kind I saw in Amsterdam.
#687re: Who needs a MOJITO time?
Posted: 2/14/05 at 6:59pmHey... tulip festival party! JetBlu's cheap! We can have mojitos and pool boys and saucy librarians... And see fields of color as far as the eye can see!
#688re: Who needs a MOJITO time?
Posted: 2/14/05 at 7:35pmSounds like a plan to me!
#689re: Who needs a MOJITO time?

Where are all the interesting people?! I am stuck at work, waiting for stuff to print (exciting, eh?) and no one's here!
#691re: Who needs a MOJITO time?
Posted: 2/14/05 at 8:52pmI am right here honey. Am I what you meant as interesting?
#692re: Who needs a MOJITO time?
Posted: 2/14/05 at 9:03pmYes dear... totally! It's so fun to read/post with you all... even though I'm not really as witty in writing as most of you all.
#693re: Who needs a MOJITO time?
Posted: 2/14/05 at 10:43pmJust be glad we are being wity and not bitchy. you know; I have been known to walk a thin line. Sometimes it is not pretty.

<------ just in from rehearsal... ouch ouch ouch ouch
Witty, bitchy... it's all in a day's party, eh?
I guess I haven't really "read" the bitchy Dame yet. I'm quite non-confrontational, so I'll prolly sit and be quiet.
Now off to make an OJ/Pineapple whatchamacallit... need to find a good name for it, a la Horny Naked Pool Boy or Saucy Librarian... thoughts?
#695re: Who needs a MOJITO time?
Posted: 2/15/05 at 1:43amThats because there has been no reason to be bitchy lately.
#696re: Who needs a MOJITO time?
Posted: 2/15/05 at 1:46amI guess we can all be just a tad bitchy at times, eh? I bet if you ask my roommate he'll tell you I am quite bitchy. Just not in writing...
#697re: Who needs a MOJITO time?
Posted: 2/15/05 at 10:32amwhich is why a mojito is needed to take off the edge?
