My tickets for the Yankees on Tuesday are $16.
If a broadway show costs less than $20? Why not?
Dinner and a movie is more than that!!!!

Hi to all!
And I couldn't be happier that it's Friday!
Cosmopolitan Fairy Tale, OTA? I love the idea... Sounds like the title of a great book!
(and, to add my two cents on ballet: ADORE it!)

Morning all! Happy Friday!
DD- Don't know about Seattle, might try to get out there in August sometime. I'll let you know.
OTA- (wherever you are)- did you talk to the P.T.B. about Saturday?

Dame - aren't you Mr. Lucky? (details requested, please...)
L - I will spare the board the details... suffice it to say that I will have to take a raincheck...
#8358Who needs a Mojito time?
Posted: 6/10/05 at 12:36pmOTA- this board thrives on gossip! Do tell! (and sure, raincheck is fine)

Hi Dame!
I'm not doing much tonight (a rare Friday night with no plans!!)
Tomorrow I'll be in Connecticut. In the evening I'm going to a picnic/concert in a pretty park right on water. We're going all out and having a gourmet spread!
Sunday I'll be back in the city. Am going to see PIAZZA again.
What are you doing?
#8361Who needs a Mojito time?
Posted: 6/10/05 at 1:42pmWell; it is gay pride weekend. Tonight I am meeting my buddies for happy hour at Mickeys. Tomorrow I have a friends birthday party. And on Sunday I will probaly go to the gay pride festival and go check out the Brad Pitt movie Sunday night.

And I continue living a life of fabulousness vicariously through Ms. Addy...
You know, Undi... I spend my weekends trying to catch those princesses before they become queens. Easier to train.
Weekend will be set building and tech rehearsals.
Pride in LA already?

Dame, that sounds like fun!
DD, how are the rehearsals going? Lusty, I hope!

Going well. A little freaked that we open a week from tonight, but that seems to always be the case with shows I'm in. It's come together quite nicely in the past week, but I wish we'd been here last week.
We now call Guenevere 'Lusty Jenny'. I have two invites to the VIP premiere... hors d'ouvres and wine. Anyone want to come to Seattle?

"A Cosmopolitan Fairy Tale", starring Addy... (soon in previews at the Marquis)...
I posted all my fun stuff yesterday, so I won't bore y'all again... I think I'm getting too old - I'd love to just sit by the pool all weekend.
BTW - Where's our funderful Chicagoan today??? Did I miss his entrance?

It always comes together at the end! I would LOVE to come to it, but, alas, I will be busy in NYC.
OTA, sitting by the pool for a weekend sounds heavenly to me!
#8367Who needs a Mojito time?
Posted: 6/10/05 at 2:05pmAddy - I think your version of sitting by the pool is probably a lot more tranquil than my REALITY of sitting (HA!) by the pool. My kids are waterbabies, and tranquil is not in their vocabulary (splashing, cannon balls, Marco Polo - those are all words they live by!)

I am envious... I LOVE being with kids! Being 'Aunt Addy' is my favorite thing ever. And, pool time is a blast!

No sitting by the pool here... too cold and windy.
Next weekend will be my relax weekend...
I'm trying to get someone to go out to dinner with me tonight and no one is responding. I feel neglected...

DD - I'll gladly have dinner with you - can you get a reservation for sometime around 7 a.m.?
Addy - I'm betting you're very much in the Auntie Mame mold...
*and what the heck happened to our weather? I went out at lunch and it was sunny and hot, and now it is absolutely pouring!!! Mega Thunderstorm happening here!*

OTA- I don't want to hear about rain, it's probably heading this way! I'd love to sit out at the pool all weekend, I'll even take your kids and play with them! But alas, the weather doesn't look like it is cooperating.
I was supposed to rush Rent tonight with a friend, but he just bailed on me. So now I don't know what I'm doing, might be blockbuster night since I have to work tomorrow. But tomorrow is the last saturday of work for the year, hooray!!!

My sister just said the same thing, OTA. POURING. I guess it's a good night to have no plans...
True, I have been compared to Auntie Mame. I simply adore my niece and nephew. Being an Aunt is my most precious role in life...
#8373Who needs a Mojito time?
Posted: 6/10/05 at 4:05pmMy goal is to become the Uncle Mame to my nieces and nephews... especially my niece in DC.
